I am excited to announce that my next book will be launching on May 1st, Global Love Day!

Without giving too much away for the big reveal, this book is a little bit different than my last book as it focuses on helping kids understand the importance of the words they use when talking to themselves and others. The goal of this book is to help kids understand that our voice and the words that we use are the most accessible form of magic as they impact ourselves and others. I want to help all kids understand that by using kind, loving words we can help to create beauty in ourselves and the world around us.

Why did I write the book?

I wrote this book because I was trying to find a way that resonated with my kids to explain why our words matter. When we are little, we tend to use the words being used around us. As parents, we can only control what we say and the language we use, however, our kids aren’t only exposed to us. They interact with other family members, teachers, and friends at school. Because of this, it’s important for us as parents to explain in a way they understand that the language they use matters. How we talk to ourselves matters just as much as how we talk to others, and we all have a choice for how we want to use that power every day. By giving our kids tools to better understand this choice and how to use that power wisely, we help them to develop their language superpower so they can use that power for good in the world.

What’s the book about?

If you’re looking for a fun and powerful way to talk about the importance of the words we use, this book is for you! It is my sincere hope that it helps inspire more kindness and love by helping kids understand that they can use the magic of their words to create a better more beautiful world.
